S2 Ep3: My story of clairvoyance
===
[00:00:00] Hello, and welcome to episode three, season two of the So Here For It podcast. I am your host, Amy Mingin, and I am so excited. Today is the episode that you never knew that you needed. I'm going to tell you all about my story and it's a story of clairvoyance. If you don't know what clairvoyance is, you're soon going to, and also this is probably, even people who know me, maybe don't even know this story. So it's a really special episode today. I am so excited to share this. I actually shared this a while ago on TikTok of all places. And this video where I decided to reveal my clairvoyance went viral. So, I hope you guys love it as much as people on TikTok. I'm sure you will.
But it's one of those things, you know, in the previous episodes, I've been talking about [00:01:00] authenticity. Well, this is me in my authentic self. I have a gift. I've got lots of gifts, but this is one of the many gifts. And one of the many gifts is I am clairvoyant. And what this means is literally, the literal meaning is clear seeing my clairvoyance shows up like this.
As a little kid I was brilliant. Still am, but my little kid version was so observant, was so into everything, would remember everything, would take everything in. I scan everything, sponge off everything, know all the things that were going on all the time. So my mum used to rely on me a lot for my memory. And she thought that I had a photographic memory, which in some cases I do, but what I've noticed the older that I get, it's more the things that I have a photographic memory for [00:02:00] are the things that I'm most interested in.
So when I went through my uni degree or my second uni degree, first one was human movement studies going into physio, and then my second one was health science majoring in naturopathy. So in the naturopathic degree, what I realized is I was so interested in the information that it would so very easily be recalled by me.
So we would have to learn like hundreds of herbs, hundreds of flower essences, hundreds of nutrients, like you name it, we had to learn it. It was a really heavy, heavy scientific degree. And lots of people couldn't handle it. They're just like, they tried to rote learn everything. And what I realized is, I naturally have this photographic memory for things that I love.
So once I hear something and I see it, then it's like locked away in the memory bank and that's [00:03:00] something I'm very gifted with. I use it all the time when I'm speaking with people and I use it for names and faces. Like I'm a names and faces person. And so I have probably freaked out far too many people in my life where they're like, how do I know you?
They're like, I don't know who you are. I'm like, that's okay. It was back in like 2009 and we were this, and I was wearing this. And it was at this place. And like, they, they look at me like, holy moly. I don't even remember going to that place. So, there's some really cool things in the way of how I use clairvoyance in an everyday sense.
So, if I'm sitting there with you, I will constantly be getting pictures. And the pictures show up, not with my normal 3D eyes, not with my imagination, but in a way of like, if you were to put a projector screen about two meters in front of me, I can see things on my own projector screen. It's just off to my left and [00:04:00] usually just off to the person's right if someone's right in front of me and it shows me. It shows me pictures. And so I speak about the pictures to the person. They're like, how do you know this stuff? And I'm like, cause I'm clairvoyant. And it sometimes will freak people out because they're like, oh my gosh, oh no, well, you're going to know everything about me.
And I'm like, well, no, it doesn't work like that. I just get insight into the conversation that we're getting. This is what makes me a fabulous healer. This is what makes me a fabulous coach. This is what makes me a fabulous person to be around if you need your space held, because I get where you're at. I get the picture and I'm like, all right, all right. And then I'll ask more clarity around the picture.
So for example, if we're doing inner child work, I get a picture of what your inner child would have looked like. My inner child's different to what your inner child is. And they would wear something different. [00:05:00] They would, you know, some people's inner child would like stand there with their hand on the hip and be like quite stompy.
And like, you could almost hear them snort out their nose. Like they're very annoyed with things. And other people's, it's like a, super snuggly cuddly little inner child and others are quite demanding and then others are quite playful. I would get the picture of your inner child if we were standing here and we were talking about your inner child. Now why am i sharing this with you? I'm sharing this with you because this hasn't always been like this. When i was little it used to freak me out because i thought that everyone else could see what i could see. I thought that everybody else felt what I felt.
And I also thought that everybody else, like, this was the normal way. When I was a little kid, I used to get pains in the tummy every single day. When I was a little kid, I would lay in my [00:06:00] bed, frozen with fear, thinking that something was going to get me. Being afraid of going to sleep. I didn't know I didn't have the well developed nervous system that I have these days.
I didn't have my current level of resilience, my current level of logic, my current level of experience in order to know what to do with all of the information that I was being given. So kids, like I'll talk a little bit about the subconscious mind first and then it'll make more sense. So children from the age of zero to seven are just an unconscious mind.
All of us. We're just the unconscious mind. That's why kids are so batshit crazy. It's quite like, go and do snow angels with one shoe on and a sock on their hand and like run around like a crazy person with their hair all over the shop inside a supermarket. While everyone is just like, well, that kid's gone crazy.
They [00:07:00] literally are fully expressed, most of them. And that's because their unconscious mind is running the show. Our subconscious mind is running the show as well, but they don't have that level of logic. They don't have that level of reasoning that an adult has. So therefore there's less resistance and there's less filters that a child has between the ages of zero and seven. So there's some positive things about that where they are fully expressed, where they tend to be able to have more fun. But the negative aspect of that is they take everything personally. So whatever happens inside a zero to seven year old child's life, if they perceive it as bad, they will take it on as theirs.
So if their parents have a fight, they think, Oh no, I did that. I made that happen. Something happens around the house. Oh no, that [00:08:00] was my fault. Little kids, even if they don't tell you they're taking it on as theirs. It's a, it's a huge responsibility for a little kid, right? And it's natural and you can't stop it from happening. So it's okay. All the parents out there take a deep breath, let it go. This is the whole reason why therapists exist. It's why psychology exists. It's why coaches are out there and mentors are out there. You don't have to fix your kids and you don't have to wrap them in cotton wool. Everybody's actually okay and in time they will be able to process it.
So don't worry about it if you've got kids and you're like, Oh no, I've stuffed my kids up for life. Don't worry, everybody's going to have trauma at some stage of their life. It's absolutely fine. But here's the thing. Me, as a little kid, I took even more. I would say I took an extreme amount of things to heart.
I took an extreme amount of things personally. And so I constantly had this really sore belly. I struggled to digest foods. [00:09:00] I ended up with intolerances by the time I was a teenager. I didn't digest my food very well and you know growing up in the 90s it was all low fat and it was, there was nothing about avoiding sugar so I ended up having loads of sugar, not enough fat and my blood sugars went all over the place. And around that time when I was in so much pain inside my physical body, all of my clairvoyance shut down. I remember shutting it down. I remember just being so stressed out and so just like, I cannot stand any of it. I asked it all to stop and it just stopped one day and it was like my magic disappeared, but I didn't think anything of it. I just carried on in my normal everyday life, and I became a really great athlete. I was playing hockey at a national level as a teenager and doing really well in that side of my life.
I was a straight A student, loved life, loved all of my social aspects. I loved being in [00:10:00] groups. I loved leading inside the groups. There were so many cool things that happened inside my school life. And I'm really, really grateful for all of the opportunities that I gave myself and also that my parents gave me. It was a really, really great childhood, but there was something in me that was constantly wanting to come through. It was this clairvoyance and it wasn't until I got much older. I was, I must've been in my early twenties. And I remember one night I'd got home late. I'd worked in bars and hospitality, and I was living by myself in this apartment in Broadbeach on the Gold Coast.
And I remember being woken up, and there were these three ghost like figures. I could only say that they were ghosts. That's what I thought that they were. And I remember it was in the middle of winter and I remember feeling freezing and they were pulling the covers [00:11:00] off me. And I was like, leave me alone and pull the covers back. And they grabbed them and they were just playing like they weren't really, there was nothing malevolent about them. They were definitely there just playing. And I didn't know enough about the spiritual world at that stage. I'd only just started doing yoga. So that was spiritual enough for me. And I told them to go away.
So again, I shut down this clairvoyant side of life. And then, not too long after, when I really got into yoga, I had cut down on the partying and the drinking and I'd left the bar work and I started working in a health food store so I was more in that retail side of things and I was enjoying it to an extent.
I remember getting up early one morning and I had this insatiable want and hunger to write. And I just kept writing and writing and writing and writing and writing and it was like a stream of consciousness. [00:12:00] And I didn't know where it was, where it was coming from, it just kept pouring out of me. And I hear of these people having these spiritual awakenings. And I hear of these people, you know, being connected to their version of God or connected to angels or connected to goddesses or spirits or anything like that. And I was like, Oh, that's pretty cool. But I didn't really think that it was for me. I didn't think that that sort of thing would happen to someone like me.
And I didn't realize at the time because I was so young that that's what was happening. It was a spiritual awakening. I was like 21, maybe 20, 21 I would have been. So really young, really, really young to try and like contemplate any of it beyond where I was at that particular stage of my life. And I started being vegetarian. I started being more in this Buddhist and Hindu style of [00:13:00] life. That really felt good to my nervous system. For the first time in my life, I finally stopped feeling stressed, or as stressed as what I used to be. And all of a sudden, I started to see these visions again, and the visions were more clear. The visions felt more intuitive to me, finally. And I started to make sense of what they were. But all of this didn't really, really come to full fruition until I became a practitioner. And you know when they say sometimes things choose us rather than us choose it. I feel like this is what it's like with me being an energetic healer first. Like I learned crystal therapy. That was my first holistic therapy, was learning massage and then learning the warmth in my hands was actually healing, learning that I could manipulate the energy in a positive way so that person could feel healed in their body while I was massaging them. [00:14:00] That the music had a particular vibration, so I played music, all of this beautiful meditation music, this chanting music, like what we would do at yoga. So I feel like yoga was my gateway to all of this for me to be able to calm my nervous system so that I could then access my intuition. My intuition, by the way, is clairvoyance. So when I say that I'm clairvoyant, it doesn't mean that I'm just, like some people on the internet when I've said this, they're like, Oh, tell us what the next lotto numbers are. And it's not like that. It's the most subtle language. And it's so subtle that it would be very easy just to be like, Oh, whatever. Like, you could just see it as like, Oh, that's just a thing. It's just a thing.
It doesn't seem like a big deal at the time. But as a practitioner, when I get a vision for someone and I ask them clarity around it, most of the time they cry because it's so spot on. [00:15:00] This, this is a gift. This is such a gift. And inside quantum, this is what I teach people. I teach them how to be medically intuitive. And you will feel something, or you will see something, or you will hear something, or sometimes you just know, you just know it. And you know what the next question is to ask. And it doesn't come from the conscious mind. Like the conscious mind is really loud. Yeah, it basically yells internally inside your brain. You can hear this like yelling, but this more intuitive voice, if you, if you're clairaudient, you hear it, that's my secondary one.
If you hear it, it's just this beautiful voice. It's a little bit more subtle and it comes more from the back of your head and you, and you don't even necessarily hear it with your external ears. Again, it's more internal. And when I sit with a client. And we're tuning, and I'm tuning into them. Sometimes I have to give them the pre warning that I'm going to [00:16:00] ask them some potentially wild questions and I want them to be okay with that.
And they're like, yeah, of course. So as soon as we're at the point where it's time to talk about what that particular intuition has brought, it is so spot on and so specific that they're like, how could you possibly know that? How do you know this stuff? And it's not about like, this is what I always say to them. It's not about me knowing it's about me accessing and asking a question and gaining clarity. So it's always about allowing your ego to step out of the way. I would say like I actually step out of the way inside a client session. I'm not, I'm not coming from my conscious mind. Sometimes I am, sometimes I need to give context around something or give some education around something, of course, but I'm not coming from this logical [00:17:00] bang, bang, bang, strategic place all the time.
It's coming from this beautiful, subtle language of intuition. And there are multiple Clairs. Everyone tends to have a dominant one. And the good news is when you can start to regulate your nervous system, you can access your Clairs really, really easily. It is, what I believe, all humans need, could and really should, be utilizing in order to communicate more effectively.
Because think about it this way, if our nervous systems are more regulated, and like I said back in episode one, if we're talking about coming to neutrality more often in our emotional state, so you might have a high high or a low low, so long as you can come into neutrality, that, that there is where we can operate from. And neutrality is where we're going to be able to be heightened to be able to [00:18:00] receive. Like, our bodies are actually a receiver. Our bodies are a conduit. Our bodies can access beyond, can access the quantum field, can access so much more than what our five senses can. And even though science has been measuring all of our five senses, our nervous system, if you were to look up what the nervous system looks like, the nervous system doesn't even join itself. It's these little bundles of nerves that send electricity across and they talk to each other. So it's not even connected. It's connected by electricity, our own electricity. That's influenced by our environment. That's influenced by the things that we consume. That's influenced by people, situations, neurotransmitters. Like everything. So, of course, we're able to influence that by calming it down. We're able to [00:19:00] access so much more.
Now, I want to just go out on a very slight tangent, because this will be really, really interesting to you. Have you ever been digging in the garden? If you go out into the garden and you find the dirt. And inside a garden bed, you'll notice if you dig through the dirt, even with a really tiny little shovel, you know, there's really little ones and you notice there's like this very fine web. That's not a spider's web. It's actually a fungal web and it's called the mycelial network. Now, if you look carefully at the mycelial network and then you have a look at like, have a look on Google and have a look at the anatomical structure of the nervous system. There's a lot of similarities there. And I'm sure that when you come into contact with someone who you really like, instantly you feel safe.
And now think about a time [00:20:00] where you've walked into a room and you didn't like someone instantly and you're not really sure why, but there's just a vibe and you just don't want to be around that person. What explains that? It's our nervous system. Yes, it's about the environment. Yes, it's about potentially our experiences and our beliefs and values and all of that stuff.
Absolutely. But that's an instantaneous response, right? That you could instantly like or dislike someone based on their energy. So, think about it this way. Let's go back into the network in the ground. That is the fungal kingdom. That's where mushrooms come from. That's where all the fungal kingdom hangs out.
And that mycelial network has the ability to send signals between every single plant and every single tree across the earth. Literally they've done studies on this. That they've [00:21:00] taken one lot of trees from Japan to another island well away from Japan and they've done the same things to only one set of the trees, but the same tree that grew up with it but got taken to another island had the exact same response because it was talking through the mycelial network.
Like how do we explain these things? Same things happened with some primates. Like they talk about they've taken monkeys off one part of a country and taken them to another island and when the monkeys on the island started to learn these things with the tools, the ones back in the original space, when given the tools, knew what to do with them.
Like this is phenomenal. And how is it explainable? And it's all energetics because it happens outside of our conscious awareness.
So then if you're [00:22:00] wondering about, all right, well, I want to explore my clairs. I want to know what my intuition means. I want to be accessing all of this magical stuff. Great. The first thing you need to do is to calm your nervous system. And the second thing to do is to start being more aware of what's actually happening for you. Are you somebody who is seeing more things. Do you get pictures, like me? The thing about getting pictures is you got to get really good at articulating what the pictures are.
I remember I was getting pictures for ages and I didn't know what to say about them. And sometimes I had to literally say in my head, I'm not sure what that picture means. And so I would get a different picture. So sometimes we've got to learn to work with our own subconscious mind in order to get the correct thing, the correct message in order for us to be the conduit, to be the messenger, in order to be the channel, in order to help our [00:23:00] clients, in order to speak with the people in front of us, in order to further humanity.
Like this is a really huge superpower. And some of you might think that I'm really brave sharing this. I've just thought of that. But it feels really normal for me. And I think the more this is normalized, that people are actually sharing their magic, that they're stepping into their more spiritual side and they're actually owning who they are. Again, authenticity, it seems to be the theme of the day today. I really want you to get this. That if you can be exactly who you are. Then you're going to fulfill what your mission is in this lifetime. If you're going to pretend that this stuff doesn't exist, if you're going to pretend that you're not destined for greatness, if you're going to pretend that woe is you and that you couldn't possibly be in any other circumstance other than what you are, I think it's time for you to get [00:24:00] real with yourself,. Because you have gifts and talents that nobody else has. The way that you articulate things is different to other people. This is especially for the practitioners, because I have coached so many of you.
And I know I will continue to because I love you all. I love you all dearly. But the thing that I hear so, so often is I couldn't possibly post that on social media, or I couldn't possibly do that, or I couldn't bring out that as an offer because somebody else is doing it better, or somebody else has written a book on it, or somebody else says that, or somebody else articulates it better.
I don't think there's any better or worse, to be honest. Like, if you look into science, how many scientists are all studying the same thing? How many athletes are there running races? How many people are teaching a really similar thing, but you might hear the same thing 50 times before it actually lands [00:25:00] for you.
That's why, that's why you need to share these gifts because if you're not sharing them, somebody out there who needs to hear it from you isn't going to hear it. I don't know about you, but I don't want to die one day with all of my gifts inside of me and having not shared them. That's why it's really important to say what's on your heart.
That's why it's really important to take action on your dreams. That's why it's really important to have important conversations and uncomfortable conversations. And that's why it's really important for you to step into things and feel like you're growing.
No one ever got anywhere worth going without stepping outside of their comfort zone.
So here is your thing. Here's your thing to do. Start finding neutrality, start meditating and setting a clear intention and start listening in or feeling in or [00:26:00] knowing in or seeing in to all the things that are very specifically guided your way on a daily basis.
And also this, if you are someone who is very much aware of their clairs and you would like to take it to another level. Well, hang on a minute. Even if you're not aware of your clairs and you'd like to learn this stuff and you'd like to take it to another level, come to quantum training. Quantum is on from the 6th to the 9th of July. And we are learning all about this. We're learning how to access your intuition, how to take it deeper, how to utilize it with other people, how to utilize it for people, how to help others tap into their intuition so that they can trust themselves even more.
But most importantly, this is one of the best and most unutilized tools ever for healing, for people being able to access their best level of health ever, [00:27:00] and that is so important for me. To be able to help other people be able to access their highest level of health in this lifetime, because guess what? If you're healthy, then you have more access to connections, to access love, to access love for yourself, but also others, to be able to lead by example, to be able to live the life that you're here to live. And also if this is what floats your boat, you'll actually be able to make more wealth in your business, in your life, because this is you stepping into your authentic self.
So if you would love to come, I'm going to pop the link down below in the description, jump through, join me. I cannot wait to see you there.
